Bruce began his banking career in 1987 at Irving Trust 2 months before Bank of New York launched a hostile takeover of the renowned One Wall Street institution. Little did he know that moment would evolve into a career largely defined by bank mergers and acquisitions. After the next bank he worked for merged with PNC Bank in 1996, Bruce joined the agency side of banking and has helped lead over 50 M&A projects since then. Bruce formed BKM Marketing in 2002, and more recently launched Bank Merger Marketing, a specialty practice focused exclusively on helping acquirers successfully onboard new customers and employees.
